Remember that post about how to put an outfit together, step by step? Well, here’s those same cargo pants styled differently. In a look I like to call Cargo, Zebra and Snake, OH MY! These pieces went together to me, like peanut butter and jelly. I hope it inspires you to keep an eye out for patterns, especially if it’s not typically your thing (like me!).
TALK ABOUT A SAFARI VIBE
All I need is my straw fedora and an open cab jeep, and I will be ready for all the elephant, lion and, yes, zebra sightings. JUST kidding of course, you’ll likely find me working remotely at a cute cafe. Yes, I like to “get dressed” and work outside the house. Makes me feel like I have a purpose and have accomplished something. Hallelujah for free wifi and french coffee houses every 100 meters here in Dubai.
And let me tell you, the cappuccino, the latte’s, and the Americano’s with a side of hot coconut milk do NOT disappoint….see below:
HEY, I WANTED TO ASK YOU ABOUT SOMETHING….
What do you think of that trend from last year where women took their lace up shoes ( I mean, just look at these neon yellow snake skin babies!! They were a must have from Aldo – also because they were on massive sale) and tie them up around the bottom of their pant leg? I did it in these next two pics….what do you think? I kind of like the slouch it gives the pants! I’m getting a jobber vibe.
OH, AND ONE MORE THING
I will never forget this photo shoot. I have hired a professional photographer maybe one time before to photograph specifically for the blog. Other times it was an organized shoot with a number of other bloggers; but this time, was a first in Dubai. In August. It was about 51 degrees Celcius and 87% humidity. It is EVERY BIT AS DISGUSTING as it sounds. I was in a full sweat under this flowy front tucked top and my hair was a lost cause. The curl gone, my grey’s going full frizz. UGH. It’s this last pic that says it all for me; but I’d do just about anything for YOU to inspire you to create your #methodmakeover. Hope you like where this blog is going!!
Happy Pattern Hunting!
