As of 2011, I’ve been an expat with my family. We moved from Alberta, Canada to The Woodlands, Texas. It didn’t seem like an expat assignment because Texas felt almost identical to home, so I didn’t really count myself as an ACTUAL expat til 2018. That’s when we moved across the world to Dubai. And it’s sure been interesting! This is where I’ll share some stories about living abroad, or talking to other expats about their experiences.
