Yes, I love to dress “up”. On any given day you will find me in jeans and heels. This particular Tuesday, even though I had nowhere special to go; but the bank and then grocery store, I decided it was a day worth looking great for. Besides, it’s like choosing to use your fine china a little more often than just those incredibly special occasions!

You’ve heard me talk about fabric before and this top is no exception. Another 100% silk piece. This one is by Diane von Furstenberg and it was from Bloomingdales in San Francisco about five years ago! I’m telling you, get the good stuff once in a while, take care of it, and you will be loving it for YEARS to come! I LOVE the unusual details on this piece….from the gathered sleeve and waistbands to the super flowy drape of the arms and back. Although, I have to say, I’m currently loving this little pink number for summer and think a bold statement necklace will look GREAT with it! DVF

The Heels were purchased at good ‘ol Marshalls; but they are Ivanka Trump. What I loved is the grey and snakeskin combination, and I actually can handle rockin’ these pumps an entire day. So no matter where you go today, make your Method to getting dressed all about capitalizing on how you are feeling, because what you put out there is what you get back ladies! And if you aren’t feeling your best, get yourself dressed, make up on and hair did….and “fake it til you make it”! Don’t be afraid to look great and feel great at the same time….when you do, you walk taller, smile more, and guess what….you are just naturally spreading your joy around and that is a GOOD thing! Plus, when you do this, and greet the world with your head held high, you will naturally look people in the eyes, likely be smiling, and I promise you, they will smile back. It’s contagious like yawning; but only better!

Second day in on the Easter Weekend and I’m feeling the love of the season and the warmth of the Spring Sunshine! Here’s the Method behind my look today:

This blush blouse has been in my wardrobe for over 4 years! Some things just never make their way out of your closet. Sometimes I wonder if it is sentimental attachment….2 months after moving to Texas, I ventured out all by myself, leaving the house at midnight to get in line and check out this American Craze of Black Friday Shopping! So there I stood at Kohl’s (my first stop) wondering how this is possible! Then I realized quickly it was the exact same kind of frenzy as Boxing Day in Canada (the day after Christmas). But I scored this beauty there for a song, and have worn it happily every Spring / Summer since. Maybe you will find some new favorites there too: Kohl’s. I must share on these shoes. Payless Shoe Source! Just bought this week and they were a steal at $39.99! Gotta love it when you can find what you are looking for at a discount! Will they last me forever? Not likely. Do they go with every outfit I have worn them with so far? YEP! AND, I can even say they are comfortable. WIN. Haven’t checked them out in a while? Accessories

The accessories are my favorites. My engraved bar necklace has the initials of everyone in my family…TKDS and is worn daily without fail. The long charm necklace is my Charm Story. I engraved the gold tag with DREAM because I want to dream big in my life. The Wishbone for a bit of luck (and sparkle) and my birthstone. The convertible Icon Watch with the latte double wrap strap is a staple as is the gold Renegade bracelet. Edgy but trendy. I think it finished the look perfectly! Stella & Dot

So my outfit makes me feel great. I have happy memories of buying the shirt, feel like I was a smart shopper with the jeans and shoes and carried the things I value most near with the personalized accessories! Then I headed out on the town with my daughter to find her the perfect Easter Dress…which just happened to come from Marshalls. Another shopping WIN! What put a smile on your face today?
