This was one of my favorite purchases from last summer….I went into the store wanting one thing, and came out with something the exact opposite! But the silk material, paired with the very cute and easy on the eyes pattern, as well as it’s pretty simple to accessorize, made it a winner for me!

The shoes are my ever present Vince sandals…since they are a neutral color, they pretty much go with everything! I pulled out my rose gold Jimmy Choo Aviator sunglasses for this sunny day (I’m loving THESE SHADESÂ from this years collections) and accessorized with STELLA & DOT. The metallic double clutch is perfect for meeting the girls for lunch or just doing some afternoon browsing. I don’t ALWAYS buy something when I shop, I just love to see and feel what is in the stores at any given time.
I love the gathered detail in a wide section across the waistline of this dress….I always prefer a drop waisted dress so this makes it more wearable for me. The length is borderline…I am a true believer in no micro mini’s after 35 and you are pushing ANY short skirts at 40! So this is just fingertip length on me. Then again, if I wore it with cute flat sandals that wouldn’t make it so obvious…we all know how heels can transform the look of our legs to something magnificent!! As a matter of fact…Here’s the perfect pair of VINCE FLATS
